Ski Patroller

Alyeska Resort is seeking strong, motivated ski patrollers to join our team in the Chugach Mountains of Southcentral Alaska. Alyeska operates in steep, complex mountain terrain with an active avalanche mitigation program, providing patrollers the opportunity to develop experience in avalanche hazard reduction, snow and weather observations, avalanche rescue, emergency medical response, lift evacuation, rope rescue, accident investigation, and mountain operations.

Candidates must be expert skiers capable of skiing confidently in steep and variable terrain and challenging weather and visibility conditions. A current OEC or Alaska EMT-1 certification or higher is required. Previous professional ski patrol and avalanche mitigation experience is preferred but not required; Avalanche Pro 1 is highly valued and required for placement at Patrol Level II and above. We are looking for dependable, team-oriented professionals who communicate well, use sound judgment, and want to continue developing their skills in a demanding big-mountain environment.

Position type: Full Time, Winter Seasonal
