Bio: IFMGA Mountain Guide based in Chamonix and Sardinia. I have been fortunate to be able to explore my passion for mountaineering and skiing throughout my life. My adventures have taken me all over the world, and forged enduring friendships and many happy memories. A number of years ago I visited the east coast of Sardinia for the first time and fell in love with the wild mountains, incredibly beautiful coastline and warmth of friendship from the people of this part of the island. I now spend most of the Spring and Autumn months based in Cala Gonone guiding adventurous treks and mountaineering locally. If you need help putting together a multi-activity package for your family whilst on holiday on the island or dream of taking a wild and adventurous journey through the heart of this ancient island, across rugged mountain to the idyllic gulf of Orosei- then I would be delighted to hear from you. In the heat of the summer I make a regular pilgrimage to the Dolomites of north-east Italy another mountain range held close to my heart. During July and August, when Sardinia become the part and beach capitol of Italy, I specialise in guiding long multi-pitch rock routes and scrambles on the iconic rock walls and summits of the Dolomites. If you are interested in a rock-climbing or scrambling adventure, to scale some of the 86 three-thousand meter peaks here or tick off one of the incredible long limestone routes here then I am definitely the mountain guide for you! :) In winter months I return to Chamonix to teach cross country skiing and ski-touring. For most of my adult life I have been a passionate cross-country skier and ski racer and am a BASI ISIA Nordic Trainer. I'm a former GB cross-country ski team member, British Biathlon Union Club Champion and still enjoy pushing myself on the recreational race circuit when I have the chance. I have an active interest in Ski-Alpinism racing and have trained teams for, and raced personally in big endurance events like the Patrouilles des Glaciers, Adamello Ski Raid and Mezzalama. In the winter of 2015 I organised and lead a British Army expedition involving over 60 people which traversed the entire European Alps on skis from Vienna in Austria to Menton on the coast of France in a continuous journey. Whilst in the winter of 2018 I completed the famous "Norge Pa Langs" journey from the southern tip of Norway, Lindesnes, to the most northerly point of Europe, Nordkapp. I skied this solo and without use of mechanical transport at any stage and completed the 2533km in 566hrs of skiing over 82 days. The first British women to complete this journey solo on skis. These have been some of the most challenging and richly rewarding experiences of my life in the mountains so far.
