Bio: Josh is the Coordinator of Programming and Permitting for the Outdoor Pursuits program at Fort Lewis College. He founded Kling Mountain Guides (now San Juan Expeditions). Kling is an IFMGA Licensed Mountain Guide and AIARE avalanche course leader. He teaches Pro avalanche course for both AIARE as well as the American Avalanche Institue. In addition Kling leads wilderness medical and rescue courses for Wilderness Medical Associates. Josh is the author of the Silverton Backcountry Ski Guide book. He has been a pro ski patroller for over ten years and playing in the San Juan Mountains around Silverton for over 20 years.
