Bio: Bob Gaines is the Owner/Director of Vertical Adventures Rock Climbing School (since 1983) offering classes, private instruction, and guided climbs at Joshua Tree National Park, CA. In the summer season Bob also offers multi-pitch guided climbs of Tahquitz Rock, at Idyllwild, CA. In 2008, Vertical Adventures Rock Climbing School was ranked #1 by Outside magazine as the best place to learn rock climbing in America. In 2011, Travel and Leisure magazine rated Bob Gaines as the "Top Guide" for Joshua Tree National Park.
