Bio: I have been climbing for 24 years and involved in climbing instruction for over 15 years. I am also a lead instructor for NOLS Wilderness Medicine for the last 10 years and serve as a faculty member at Winona State University teaching in the Physical Education & Sport Science department overseeing our Adventure Education program.. I have also helped develop the Winona Ice Park in the city of Winona, MN which is entering its 5th year with approx. 90-100 routes up to 100ft long as well as helping create a designated rock climbing park in the city as well in partnership with our local land managers. I am passionate about climbing and outdoor recreation advocacy and believe strongly in standards, data, and research. I love introducing new people to the vertical world.
