Bio: I have worked in the Outdoor Industry for 10 years and received my Masters in Leisure Studies, focusing in Outdoor Education from Oklahoma State University. I worked as an Outdoor Trip Leader at Roanoke College for 3 years, lead extensive trips to Hawaii and California for Adventures Cross Country, served 2 years as the Outdoor Trips Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State. Recently I left my position of 2 years at The Ohio State University Outdoor Trips Coordinator where I planned, implemented, and facilitated over 70 trips a year, 3 of which were international. I have experience in caving, backpacking, mountain biking, whitewater, ocean kayaking, climbing, to horseback riding. I also am a certified EMT and Wilderness First Responder. I am also a certified Wilderness First Responder instructor through SOLO. I obtained my SPI April 2016. I currently run the climbing wall, challenge course, trips program, and Equipment Rental as the Outdoor Recreation Coordinator for Georgia State University.
