Bio: I grew up skiing in California and caught the ski bum disease in Squaw Valley in 1995. I found SW Montana in 1997 and have been exploring this region on skis ever since. I moved to Cooke City, Montana full time in 2011 and started my dream business Beartooth Powder Guides. BPG currently has two backcountry lodging options in The Mount Zimmer Yurt and Woody Creek Cabin, offers numerous backcountry educational courses focusing on Avalanche Education, Backcountry Skiing Skills and Ski Mountaineering, as well as providing guiding services for backcountry skiers and snowboarders in the mountains that surround Cooke City Montana and Yellowstone Park. I completed my Ski Guide exam in 2018 and sold Beartooth Powder Guides in 2023. I am currently a guide for Beartooth Powder Guides in Cooke City MT.
