Bio: Tod has been a guiding since 1999; he trains and works primarily in the North Cascades of Washington State in the rock, alpine and ski environments. He also teaches and certifies candidates for the AMGA SPI certification as well as he is an AIAIRE L1/L2 avalanche course instructor. Tod is the owner of Edgeworks Climbing in Tacoma, WA as well as an alpine/ski guide for Mountain Madness. As a climber, Tod has been climbing and skiing the backcountry since 1991, logging ascents of rock, ice and ski routes in North America and abroad; he loves helping people discover that climbing and skiing in the backcountry can be a lifelong pursuit that is inspiring and invigorating.
