Bio: Growing up near Pittsburgh, PA, Andrea found her place in the mountains of Vermont while attending the University of Vermont. She began working with Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School as a climbing instructor in 2001, moving into guiding/AMGA along the way, and she and her husband now own the business. Andrea is an athlete for ice, mixed and rock climbing on the Mammut Athlete Team. She guides throughout the Northeast, is a New York State Licensed Guide and has been a guest guide and mixed climbing competitor in Ouray, CO and Bozeman, MT, Mountainfest, NY, MWV Ice Fest, NH, and Smuggs Ice Bash, VT.
