Bio: I am a fully certified Chamonix Guide De High Montagne of Chamonix from the Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme. Skiing since age 3 and alpine climbing since age 14 in the Alps gave me the pillars of knowledge and confidence for my unrelenting worldwide alpine quests. I started guiding in the French Elite Alpine Troops of the 27eme BCA (Bataillon De Chasseurs Alpins in Annecy) in 1976 then transferred to the GMHM (Groupe Militaire De Haute Montagne under the commandment of Jean Claude Marmier) I got certified in Chamonix as Guide De Haute Montagne and received the honors of Premier UIAGM Guide De Haute Montagne from ENSA in 1989. I have worked with Yvon Chouinard and Jim Donini, Jean-Franck Charlet, Patrick Cordier and Giles Bodin, (Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme). I am now accepting instructors in my Savelli Elite Alpinism Corps Courses for those interested in high mountain guiding in Chamonix. Although not a certification program the 'Guide en situation en Haute Montagne' defines the character of very serious Alpinism as a Guide in Chamonix not just trade routes. I hold on sight world solo records in Chamonix on the Dru West Face American Direct to summit, The Grandes Jorasses by the Walker Spur, The Grand Capucin by the Bonatti, and many more...Recycling is currently mandatory for French UIAGM/IFMGA guides. I have recycled systematically. I am currently offering Aspirant mentorship Alpine Mountaineering and guides courses for those interested in working on certain gaps in their respective specialties.
