Xiaoping Li
AMGA Single Pitch Instructor
City: Toronto
Province: ON
Bio: At age 9 Xiaoping climbed the Big King Mountain in his hometown and learned a life lesson: challenging myself to reach seemingly impossible heights. Xiaoping started top rope climbing and sport leading outdoors in 1994 and trad leading in 1995. Since then, he has made a number of first ascents in China and India. After showing many people the ropes through social climbing for years, Xiaoping decided to set up a company to do the same. Zen Climb was born in 2010. As part of his effort to provide the most current risk management skills to his clients, Xiaoping has taken multi-day training courses with ACMG, AMGA and PCGI guides over the years. Such expansive exposure to teaching and guiding approaches and styles helped Xiaoping to become a better instructor.
