AMGA Single Pitch Instructor

City: Wenatchee

Province: WA

Bio: I grew up in the mid-west with the good fortune of having an adventurous family. We would go camping, hiking, skiing, and most often whitewater canoeing and kayaking. When I was 20, I moved to Salt Lake City and taught skiing at Alta, as well as tapped into a community of great people who loved getting outside. This is where I learned to really climb. I then went back to college at Prescott College where that community grew and I fell deeper in love with getting outdoors and teaching the skills involved with climbing, skiing, backpacking, and leading. Since college, I have bounced around, from job to job and state to state, having the opportunity to go on adventures in many places and guide a wide variety of people and activities, both here in the U.S. and internationally. Currently, I instruct High School students in outdoor education programs with the White Mountain School in New Hampshire.
