Bio: I spent 10 years in the Navy as a helicopter pilot and then a leadership instructor at the Naval Academy. In Sep 2016, I left active duty to begin my own business in leadership coaching and outdoor instruction (cairnleadership.com). I am a NOLS instructor for mountaineering, rock climbing, backcountry skiing and backpacking. I teach climbing for REI, and have my SPI certification. I have a passion for the joy and purpose wilderness brings to our lives and love coaching leaders to bring out their best self!
