I was introduced to climbing through Phoenix Multisport (a non-profit based in Boulder, CO) in 2008. As soon as I had acquired the basic knowledge, I began teaching intro clinics to newer climbers as a volunteer, and in 2010 was hired as climbing instructor after taking the AMGA-CWI course. Ii was a CWI provider beginning in 2012 but have since let that lapse. I passed the SPI Assessment in April 2011 (and again in 2014 & 2017) and completed the Rock Guide Course in 2017. I love working with newer climbers and helping people push through their own boundaries!
