Tanner Jones AMGA

AMGA Single Pitch Instructor

City: Carbondale

Province: CO

Bio: Born in the Rockies, I am an avid lover of all things mountains. I love the diversity of activites the seasons in the mountains provide, from sport climbing and steep, skiing in the spring, summer alpine climbing and mountain biking, ripping through the golden leaves on bikes and trail runs while sending projects at the crag in the fall, to winter skiing and gym climbing. I am a teacher and climbing sponsor and coach - my main passion is to teach the next generation about climbing, respecting and protecting our wild places, LNT practices, and understanding the value of nature through participatory adventure classes and activities. In the summer, I travel, adventure with my family, and pick up part-time gigs supporting local guides with single-pitch clients.
