Bio: Randy started out developing a leadership program at a private school in California. Here is where he found his passion for rock climbing and whitewater kayaking. For many years he lead trips for middle and high school students all over California, Nevada, and Oregon. Following his passion for climbing he became an AMGA SPI instructor, moved on to become AMGA certified rock instructor, and finally finished and became an AMGA-certified rock guide. He has since become a SOLO Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness First Aid provider as well as a Leave no Trace Master conducting courses throughout the United States. He has worked for Colorado Mountain School as a guide and now owns his own guide service in Austin, Texas called Austin Ascents.
