Bio: Eric is a high level all round technical mountain guide with numerous personal and guided first ascents and significant repeats in ice, rock, alpinism and backcountry skiing. Eric has extensive global guiding experience, was lead guide for several reputable guide services in Canada, France and Switzerland. He is the founder, owner and operator of Mountain Skills Academy Inc (MSA). MSA acquired Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau (est 1991) in 2014 and the companies merged in 2015, re-branding as Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures (MSAA). MSAA is a full service mountain school and guide service providing the most comprehensive offering of carefully crafted mountain skills courses, high quality private guiding services and select mountain adventures such as Via Ferrata. MSAA has its head office in Whistler BC and operates in the Canadian Rockies from Canmore and Coast Mountains form Whistler. MSAA had 21 guides on its 2016 summer guides roster at your service.
