ACMG Mountain Guide
Bio: Based near Wilmer, BC, Kirk has been actively guiding since 1993 and loves the Purcell Mountains, especially the Bugaboos. His company - Basecamp Innovations Ltd - is internationally respected for providing expertise in technical rope rescue, through courses, consulting and product design, testing and research. Kirk currently serves as the vice president of the Terrestrial Rescue Committee of the International Commission for Alpine Rescue (ICAR) and is also a member of the ACMG Technical Committee.
