Ski Instructor / Snowboard Instructor

Provides Tamarack guests with a superior educational experience on the snow.  Effective performance will ensure the best possible recreational experience for our guests.  A Ski or Ride instructor will show enthusiasm for skiing/ snowboarding and will enjoy educating all ages and ability levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

Deliver a safe and enjoyable skiing/snowboarding experience for guests.

Encourage guests to take advantage of any ski/ride school or resort product that will enhance their recreation experience. 

Teach ski or snowboard skills to both adults and children either as a group or individually as assigned by the supervisory staff.

Exhibit a positive model to our guests in areas of customer service, punctuality, grooming, and work quality.

Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and teach both adults and children in a safe manner.

Take in information and feedback in order to develop personal skiing/snowboarding and teaching styles while demonstrating a high level of class management skills. 

Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Work independently to develop lesson plans.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
